About me
Hi, I’m Kogulan, a Toronto-based product designer.
My path into design started in science. With a background in Toxicology and Nutrition and a Master of Information in UX Design from the University of Toronto, I’m drawn to complex systems and figuring out how all the pieces connect. I care about turning ambiguity into clarity and building products that scale thoughtfully.
I began my career in video games, contributing to the interface design of Far Cry 6 at Ubisoft Toronto. From there, I moved into SaaS at Rose Rocket, where I helped evolve a rigid transportation management system into a flexible, AI-integrated platform built around real customer needs.
Today, I’m the sole designer at Yolando, leading product strategy and design for an AI platform focused on generative engine optimization. I’ve taken the product from 0 to 1, shaping its vision and core experience from the ground up. I also support BirdseyePost, a direct mail marketing platform within the same ecosystem.
I’m most energized by complex platforms where thoughtful design brings structure, momentum, and lasting impact.
